I like food.
I have been taking pictures of food for a long time.
My first commercial job as a photographer was to photograph large, beautiful fruit trays for a local restaurant when I was living in Victoria.
I’ve been shooting food ever since. My photographs are now very informal. I no longer seek commercial clients (and haven’t for many many years). I photograph food when it is on display, when it is still growing, and I photograph my empty plates after meals.
The images in this book encompass the growing/raising of food through to the empty plates. Some of the images are twenty years old, while others are only a month old. This is a growing collection and this book will be re-printed every few months.
